Wireless Card Troubles

I have a TP-LINK TL-WN951N (Revision 1.1) wireless card. I've had it since I think April of last year.

Now to the problem. It was working good until I did I clean install a few days ago. Now once the drivers have been installed for it, there is a yellow triangle next to the card in Device Manager. When I open the properties of the card it displays "This device cannot start. (Code 10)" under Device Status.
I have tried the drivers on the disc that came with it, the most recent downloaded from the TP-LINK website and even the drivers that Windows has built in for the chipset this card contains. Nothing is working.

I do not have an image or backup to go back to, I thought I had one on my external but it was the one for my laptop. I did not realize this until my desktop as already formatted. (I know shame on me)

I really need to get this working as fast as I can because I do a majority of my school work on it. I can do it on my laptop but it is much easier on the desktop.

Anyone have an idea as to what is going on?

Hi VistaKing,

I have un-installed and re-installed the driver numerous times since it quit working. I have even re-installed Windows twice since I don't have anything set up on it yet.

I also tried this:
Turn off computer.
Unplug card.
Turn computer on.
Turn computer off.
Re-plug card.
Turn computer on.

Nothing seems to be working. I've been messing for a few days so I'm starting to think the card is dead

This shows uninstalling all of the USB devices inside Device Manager

Under Universal Serial Bus controllers

Restart computer then insert the device again

Would I need to do that since the card is PCI based?

Scratch that cause that's only for USB devices . Did you try downloading the driver from the manufacture's website ?

Yes. I downloaded the most recent one and the one right before it. Neither of them worked.

Have you tried another PCI port ?

Yes. My motherboard only has two and they both yielded the same results, yellow triangle in Device Manager.

Can I get the screenshot of the Details tab of the device properties ? Showing the Hardware IDs under Property

If the download doesn't work . Go to the link http://www.atheros.cz/atheros-wireless-drivers.php locate AR5008 AR5416 and click on the blue check mark under Win7x64

When you do Check for updates in Windows Update does it locate a driver for the device ?

I can't run Windows Update because the computer doesn't have an internet connection. I am posting from my laptop.
