Hey!

So, I'm posting this because I got sick & tired of this. I read about it on the internet and it seems that Windows 7 has some problems with WPA2. My connection might cut all of sudden and my router will report error in authentication. Also, Windows will show "Attempting to authenticate". Is there anyway to fix this on Windows 7?

The router I'm using is Buffalo WZR-AG300NH and I'm connection is using N. Authentication is done via WPA2 AES.

Windows 7 has no issues with WPA2.

You can try updating the firmware to your router. Then set it to use a different channel than it is now, short preamble and Beacon Interval=500 ms.

You'll be best off disabling DHCP on the router and setting static ip addresses in Windows for machines on the lan.
