Hi,

I've posted a few times in the past few days because it seems as though my PC is deteriorating before my eyes.

I had a problem a while back where the only way I could connect to my router was to manually reset the router (the wireless adapter recognized the network, but would give errors in connecting until I did the reset). After a while, that went away - I don't know how, it just stopped. Now I have a new problem. Every few minutes or seconds while connected my connection will just drop. It will still "say" that the computer is connected with internet access, and five bars signal, but I won't be able to open any web pages, and I get disconnected from teamspeak/IMs, and my latency in online games will go through the roof (as in, 6000+ ms). Also, for whatever reason over the past week my network connections went from:

Wireless Network Connection ---> Wireless Network connection 10

and

the microsoft miniport became wireless network connection 11

I have an ASUS 802.11n wireless LAN card, which is known in device manager as "ASUS 802.11n Wireless LAN Card #2", whereas it used to just be "ASUS 802.11n Wireless LAN Card".

What should I do?

Edit: Also, I can't rename the connection, it gives me an error saying that a connection with that name already exists (When trying to just revert it back to "Wireless Network Connection")

If you have more than one driver installed (you have 10-11) all sorts of borkedness occurs.

Please open device manger>wifi>properties and check how many are listed.

I'm sorry, I can't seem to find that location. In device manager, there are only two adapters listed if that's what you're asking.

ASUS 802.11n Wireless LAN Card #3 (keeps increasing also...)

and

Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter #9 (lol)
