i have this wireless card not sure of the model, it comes up as a linksys wireless g pci adapter in the device manager from the windows update drivers in x86
but i would like to use it in x64. so i searched a little bit and it found it to be WMP54G but im not sure if i really believe it because the card it self has no linksys model/version number on it.

PCI\VEN_1814&DEV_0201&SUBSYS_00321737&REV_01
PCI\VEN_1814&DEV_0201&SUBSYS_00321737
PCI\VEN_1814&DEV_0201&CC_028000
PCI\VEN_1814&DEV_0201&CC_0280

can anyone help me out, if there really is no x64 drivers can someone post the most current x86?

Hi trip

If you are 64bit the x86 wont work. Using those hardware ids have you looked for vista 64bit> they will work in win 7 if you install them in compatibility mode.
to use compat, right click the installer>properties>compatibility>check vista

My wireless-g pci adapter

To install the Wireless-G PCI Adapter in Windows 7 you must first disconnect adapter from motherboard PCI slot, install driver from CD or one you've downloaded, then the installation will ask you to shut down your computer and continue installation when you've plugged in your adapter.

I've found one bug with this adapter and Windows 7. If your PC goes to sleep...when it wakes up the adapter does not work untill your restart. If anyone has a solution for this let me know.

I have the Linksys 54G version 4.0, tried the Ralink driver suggested, it works but very very slow, I gave up and bought a Dlink which has Arthos chipset...works right out of the box with Windows embedded driver.

If you can't get yours working, get one of those cheap realtek 8815 chipset based card and use the latest driver from Realtek, that driver works wonder with 7
