Wireless Internet Device won’t install

I have a HP 505B Microtower PC Model No: B2C02UT#ABA
I have a Overdrive Pro wireless internet device that I had connected by a USB cable.
I am in a rural area and can only get 3G with a desktop.
It did work fine then quit working. I un-installed it and tried to re-install it, now the drivers won’t install for a USB connection. The Thru-Install or nothing comes up.
