Wireless Internet problems

Hi,
Recently I have had the fibre optic service installed from BT, it is working extremely well (we've gone from getting around 0.15Mbps to 37.5/38Mbps) and at first, everything worked reasonably well wirelessly even though it was around 15Mbps slower than the desktop pc which is wired. Today, i have installed a new computer which has wireless built in in another room in the house, and at first, it connected fine, the speed was poor but as it was only last wednesday that the service was installed, i assumed this was because we are still in the '10 Day intermittent period' when BT are testing the connection etc. But after using it for a few minutes it nows regularly disconnects from the network and we get about 1Mbps speed, and the same for all the other wirless devices in the house (Inc an iPhone, 3 Laptops and an XBOX). However, the computer using the wired connection is unaffected, i know that using WiFi will cause some speed decrease, but... 38 down to 1, surely there is something wrong as all wireless devices were 22-25Mbps before i connected that new computer?

Any help and advice would be much appreciated,
Thanks, Rob

Hi RobL700,

First off, lets do a Power Cycle of all your devices. See if all the wireless connections have improved.

Next task....Install and run Xirrus Wi-Fi Inspector.
Click on the 'Show Networks' to display all wireless networks on the xirrus icon on your desktop of if you have one running in a corner. Tap the Printscreen key on your keyboard, open up Paint then choose Edit from the Menu and select Paste, then SAVE it. Upload and attached the file here.
