I've followed some on the steps provided on here, but I still can not connect to the internet via wireless option error message appears as "there might be a problem with the driver for the wireless network connection adapter" I've downloaded the latest version from the Dell support site and it still doesn't work. please help. I'm available to connect if I plug in the Ethernet cable directly to my laptop.

Did something change to cause this? Can you try doing a restore point or roll back the driver?

Hi jeccajo2013,

Please let us know the model number of the system and wireless card you have on the system. If you are aware of the same then you can update the driver using this video below:

Updating Dell Drivers

Otherwise let me know the same and I would provide you with the correct link to download the driver.

Check the system under safe mode with networking and let us know if it works fine there:

Kindly update your system specs here by following this.

Keep us posted with the results so we can advise you further.
