Hi, I've just upgraded to windows 7 from vista and i'm having a really annoying issue, the tray icon that shows my connection to my wireless network constantly shows up with a red "X" over it. I'm connected to the network fine and i know this even by clicking the icon and then right clicking on the connection and checking the "status" portion of the connection. Is there anything I can do to fix this, as it's annoying because i'd like to know if my wireless connection ever actually drops at some point.

I did some searching on this forum and i've uninstalled "Bonjour" and disabled and stopped the service and restarted the computer a few different times after doing this. Any help to get this resolved would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Home LAN through Linksys hub to 4 port and wireless switch/router. Networked HP 2600n. Wife's computer running Windows 7, and spare laptop running Ubuntu "Karmic Kola" (9.10).
If you have another ethernet jack on your pc, it's most likely showing that one. I think I just switched the jack that my router was connected to in order to get rid of the red x.
