What if its another adapter?
Same problem - Windows 7, x64 bit, 'Windows Network Connection doesn't have a valid IP configuration' error, when I boot after a gap. =(
You guys seem to have fixed the problem for your Realtek adapter. I thought I remember seeing Realtek on my lappy too, but I guess not.. it says 'Intel(R) Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN' under Network Adapters, in my Device Manager. I have a HP Pavilion dv2000 series laptop, used to have Vista, got Windows 7 as soon as was possible.
It does connect after a couple tries of Troubleshooting, so I don't want to risk it not working at all if I change something! Any suggestions, guys?
