WMC and Search not working

Strangest problem just started.

I set WMC to record ( on my pc) and I got message - Failed to start. (Although TV is working)

I usually disable in Programs and features, reboot and reset and that usually works - not this time.

I then decided to do a rollback, but cannot enter search terms ( opens an hdd drive instead, or the Run box).

I can't even enter a search term in a browser.

I can do an image restore from a Macrium backup, but before I do that, any ideas?

This is the first time anything like this has ever happened and I'm at a loss for the problem.

Using my laptop for this, but am also having the same problem with WMC recording - it starts to record and stops.

Edit- The problem on the laptop and WMC recording is now OK after disabling and re enabling.

Edit #2 - Restored a system image and WMC is ok now- cannot type anything in search bars, notepad,etc.

Getting really frustrating - I can now type on notepad (Backspace inoperable) but not on any searches in browsers. UGH!!

I went to ease of access ctr and played with some settings and temporarily had my typing problem solved.

Now, back to same problem - cannot type in any search bar.

I tried the troubleshooter and it said Teredo Tunnely adapter cannot start (code 10).

I'm not even sure what that is, or if it is related.
