Type services.msc in the start search box. click on the "services" gear. When the window opens, scroll down to Windows Media Center (there are 2), right click, choose Properties and set both to 'manual'.
That shouldn't be it. Both of the Windows Media Centers are set to manual, but the Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service is set at 'automatic'. Could that be the issue?
