I have been listening to music some of the day, and once I got my 1TB hard drive I decided to move my Music, etc. over to it as a backup. When I did I tried to reopen WMP12, but it instantly crashed with these details. What's the problem and how do I fix it?

Welcome!

Is this a recurring problem or a one-time incident? If this is the only time it happened, I wouldn't sweat about it.

If this is a recurring problem, I suggest a system files check.

It occurs every single time I open WMP.

I ended up just reinstalling Windows 7. I needed to do so anyway and this just made that happen sooner. Still have no idea why it was acting up though. My DRM folder was empty, so I'm not sure if it could be the music rights type of problem. I suppose it could have been because I have a bunch of music and it wasn't loading fast enough or something, but it loads fine now with the same amount (on a new HD).
