WMP12 listing all music twice.

Due to recent problems of a corrupt Windows 7 I've had to reinstall fresh. Upon transferring my music from my external HD back onto my desktop WMP eventually always lists all songs twice.

I've tried going to appdata/local/microsoft/media player and deleting it all and restarting the media build but once it has finished a new media build and been closed and opened it has a slow start then begins to list all music (all content actually such as playlists etc) twice.

Still happening and still can't find a fix anyone else ever suffer this problem before?

Hi,
The only time I've ever seen duplicate listings is because My Music folder and Public Music had the same music in them,
Removing Public or resorting the music cured that mess,

Public library is empty. No other folder in library of WMP12 just my default music folder.

Losing the will to live with bloody WMP12 I've always stuck with it because it ordered and listed my tracks neatly for me to follow and always enjoyed the reliability of it, until now that is.

No other fixes or mentions of this problem with the only fixes already stated.

Still no solutions met

The WMP12 library constantly has to rebuild itself
then after a while it starts to list everything twice.

Closing and opening media player fixes it.
Rebooting Win7 starts the whole horrible process over again.
