Won't let me change screen resolution

My computer is stuck at 640x840 on a 1920x1680 monitor. As you can tell, it sucks. This computer was broken for almost two years and I just fixed it, and before now it has never had this problem. It says in the device manager that I am using "Standard VGA Graphics Adapter" but I am not, and I don't know the actual card. Please help?

hi run speccy it should tell what card you have in it. then when you find out go to the manufacture web site and download and install the driver for the card.
