Solved Word 2016 - View 2 pages side by side

Hi. Word 2016. Have a book with each page being a jpeg of original doc.


All was fine up until yesterday. You could view/read the book with 2 pages side by side (like a real book - left & right page).


Now it's all a single page to a page. What to click to get back to two pages on screen? (I've tried and failed so far).


N.B. If I open another similar book (word doc) all is fine. Just this particular book is no longer 2 pages on screen.

Hi AaLF,

I'm running Word 2010 and Word 365, both have similar wording but the functionality is the same. You didn't state what you have tried and failed on so this may be what you have already tried. This works on both my M$ Word apps.

Word 2010 Click View, Two Pages.
Word 2016/365 Click View, Multiple Pages. If you increase or decrease the zoom, you can view one page or all pages of that file.
Zoom is located lower-right hand corner of Word.

It just open correctly after a restart.
