Can a Word Doc. be E Mailed?

Yes, just add it as an attachment to an e-mail message. Or, depending on the Word version, it will have a "Send To" option, in the "File" drop down menu with several e-mail options.

One note, most but not everyone is able to read MS Word documents. Make sure whoever you send it to can open it.

If I may add, make sure IS NOT in .docx format, as only Word 2010 and later can open it.

Word 2007 also uses .docx, first version to do so. Office 2000, Office XP/2002 and Office 2003 can install the Compatibility Pack to open .docx files plus file types from other applications in the suite are mentioned.
