Word wont start, re-installed, still does not

Hi,

I still feel this is a registry issue. To double-check that, please do the following for me:

Click Start Orb, in the search box type winword /r and hit enter. This will reset all the Word registry values to their default install value by re-running the Configuration process again. After it's finished, please try opening Word as per normal.

Let us know the outcome.

Tried winword /r.
It started thre reconfigaration process. But when tried opening Word again it crashed. ANd now it's giving the same error I posted earlier.

Hi,

What worries me is that your error message starts with <a> .... this should normally read Word.

Can you please open Excel (not Word but Excel) and go to File > Help....you will see a screen similar to this. Please post a screen capture of it (Be sure to blank out your Product ID as shown in my example).
