Starting a few months ago any spreadsheet I created in Microsoft Works would develop the "hiccups". The spread sheet would create and you could post entries but only between the fluctuations of the "hourglass" icon cycling about every 2 seconds. I would resolve this by restoring to an earlier date that I knew worked. I can transfer "good" spreadsheets from my XP computer and the data follows but but still has the same symptom.

Which version of Works? Same version on both computers? The spreadsheets work fine in Works on the WinXP computer but have problems on the Win7 computer? I have the last version [9.0] on my Win7 but don't use it except to open files for other people but haven't seen any problems except between versions. Microsoft never did change the warning part about having more than 500 Fonts installed.

I have verson 7 on X2 & version 9 on win 7. I ported over the 7 to win 7 but no difference. When I re-install Works on Win 7 it can't find a bunch of .bmp & .jif files but if you igmore it installs anyway. I even swapped the task files on XP works (which has .bmp files) with Win 9 on Win 7 and it still wanted .bmp files.
