No way. Simply put, Microsoft support means absolutely NOTHING to the working of Windows, it'll continue to work in the very same way as it's now.
For updates, they're simply not necesary for normal usage, and more often than not they end up breaking something, or including something malicious. There must be a strong reason for me to download an update, specially since the "rollup" model they've adopted, when we cannot decide what to install.
As for the MS "support" itself, I still have to know anyone that ever sent a message and got a positive response in return. All their forums, bug trackers and the like are full of canned answers basically asking me to downgrade to Windows 10 or something along the lines.
Not to mention that the quality of their programs is constantly dropping. Skype is a disaster since the MS takeover, Office is slower than ever, Windows is a joke tablet OS with bundled spyware, and to add insult to the injury, their TOS is an open violation of many international privacy laws, not to mention to etics.
Why would I pay them for more of that?
