Hello, can any-one tell me how to set up the following configuration to work:

A PC running Media Center under Windows 7, connected wireless ( 802.11n ) to a router ( TRENDnet TEW-452BRP, 802.11g ).
To the same router, BY WIRE, is connected XBox360.

?

The problem is that neither device sees another one. Now, when I connect the PC to the router with a wire, all works fine.

Firewall. Did you allow the firewall on your router to allow that? Also, windows Firewall needs to be checked.

But why would that be a problem when using wi-fi, and why wouldn't it be a problem when using only wires?

Your Router or WiFi point is the Gateway, it is the object that allows you to talk to others. If the Gateway doesn't have knowledge of something, he can't necessarily allow it, can he?
