Xerox FaxCentre 2218 does not support Win7

Hi -- 1st post. My Xerox FaxCentre 2218 does not support Windows 7. It supports Windows XP. I would like to use the 2218 as a printer for my Windows 7 laptop. Is there a work-around that will enable me to do this? Thanks in advance for your help!

I have not tried the Vista drivers -- do you recommend I try the Windows Vista or the Windows Vista x64?

Interesting -- malwarebytes reports the drivers download from Xerox as Trojan.FakePDF and quarantines!

Most welcome .. I also got the Original Vista Driver tested it was the same ...

I tried the vista drivers and they did not work. I called xerox and they said I could try the vista drivers but "no guarantee" (surprise). Frustrating b/c if I could get the faxcenter 2218 to work as USB printer in Win7 Pro x64 I could avoid having to purchase new machine.
