I have just increased my WIN XP virtual machine size to 15GB, but when i run it, it still shows as 4GB.

What should i do?

I am running vmware workstation

From what I remember, the fact that the size 'limit' is changed, it won't expand the actual virtual machine 'file' until it's used. It simply allows it's size to expand to that predetermined size setting (15GB)

ok 2 things on that error.

1st: Very possible that it's a permission issue on the VM side. Double check that you have the correct permissions setup in that directory.

2nd: could be that you're using older VMware Tools, you may need to update the tools or uninstall, reinstall the vmware tools.
