xrite 2 for vista - driver file has no exe to install

hi wanted to install my xrite 2 on my vista machine so I downloaded the driver file here

X-Rite: Get exactly the color you need, every time, anywhere in the world.

but when I unzipped it it does not have an install exe

had the xrite device plugged in, and windows said it found the new hardware, please point to the installer but when I tried to point it to the xrite folder windows said it could not find and open and run an installer.

suggestions? already have it installed on my win 7 machine

Did you try installing it manually through Device Manager,

Just point it to the extracted folder, no need for an exe.

thanks! now the thing will not run or work however....

per your directions it now says new hardware installed and working properly but when I plug in the device nothing happens. no window opens, it doesnt run, there is no way to profile the monitor. nada nothing. this thing cost almost $300 it better work!
