I just photoshopped a custom signature I would like to use in yahoo mail, so I copied the end result and tried to paste it but that didn't work, so I uploaded it to photo bucket copied it from there and pasted it, it showed the image so I hit save and when I opened compose it's not there and when I go back to mail options it is there. why won't it work and how do I or can I make it work? can someone please walk me thru the steps on how to add this signature successfully. Thanks in advance. :(

It depends on what version of Yahoo mail you are using.

Since this is a new post in 2014 I am going to assume you were what some are calling Neoized (meaning the url or link in the address bar says Neo in it - for me it is https://ca-mg5.mail.yahoo.com/neo/launch).

Here are the steps I take:

  1. I choose a free host online to host my image so that others can see it as well such as Free Image Hosting at FreeImageHosting.net which I find real easy
  2. I upload my image
  3. and then copy it (not the link but the actual image)
  4. I then go into Settings in Yahoo mail
  5. Then I go to Writing email (one of the things that have changed since previous versions)
  6. And then see my signature box and make sure the drop down says "Show a Rich Text Signature"
  7. right click INSIDE of that signature box and select PASTE
  8. and select SAVE

Did this solve it for you?

Hope that helps
