yahoo messenger crashing in windows 7

i was happily using yahoo messenger version 10 with windows 7 some days ago. But i had to re-install windows 7 again due to some problem( i did a clean install after formatting the c drive ). But after that whenever i enter into any chat room in yahoo messenger it either closes the messenger immediately or just after sometime with a prompt saying that "window is searching for solution online". i have even tried with yahoo messenger 10 the latest version as well as version 9. Still having same problem. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you.

Perhaps try using Revo Uninstaller to remove any remnants of previous install and then reinstall YM 10 again ?
