thanks - mine's not quite right yet either! i'm just never satisfied i keep looking at it thinking, the writing needs to be bigger, that needs moving slightly over there, colours need changing....etc etc! good thing i've got lots of time on my hands and a copy of photoshop!

so i started tinkering with my l4d map. (its almost done ) but theres about a billion buggs i still have to squash. hell, i might even release it :shock: it's a survival map. based on feedback, i might start constructing a whole campaign. no job = limitless free time

this sounds interesting - i've just downloaded l4d from steam - i would like to have a look and offer some feedback

any maps/campaign add ons that you recommend?

yer, i got photoshop but still trying to get my head round it. good u can play about wiv it urself, it's no so easy for me to just say to the guys who made mine 'just change this, make that this way'. i'll get proficient soon if i keep having a go at it.

you're right matt - the more you play, the more you learn. i've learned to use probably less than 5% of the features myself...it's a big program!

there are 1000s of online tutorials about - of varying quality. here's a good place to start.

it's a full fledged campaign. there arnt many 'good' campaings yet, but this one was fun.

as for the map im working on. still major navigation problems, and i have yet to do any of the scripting. structure and detail work are pretty much complete, still working on it. so far i have my little sister (lol) test playing it

Almost 4AM here. Wife`s away with a group of other ladies checking "Gardens of Holland". Weather is cold and rainy, should stay so over the next couple days. Nothing to do except some paperwork already overdue but have no inspiration to begin with it.

Maybe I`ll try a new record: how many hours I can check SevenForums without a break. Winamp playing Miles Davies, beer and whisky stock OK. No problems.

Can't say that I am a great player, but I like to think that I know how to play. Even if I can't. Lol.
I don't even know what I mean.

Its about 9am. There was a rain storm earlier with plenty of thunder and lightning. My dog goes crazy with EVERY storm. She was in the back yard when it began to rain and jumped the five foot fence and started running.
It took me about an hour to find her in the sub division I live. Well actually she found me as she recognized my truck an ran towards it. A great way to start a day.
