Around 11PM I was coming in from a friend's house. I was walking up our lengthy sidewalk and I suddenly felt a hand on my right shoulder followed by these deep red eyes. The "thing" then told me "It's Party Time! Down at the graveyard....". I felt my soul leave my body; I stumbled so fast to get to the front door that I tripped and my toe got "wedged" into a sharp point of the sidewalk. My Mom heard the commotion and ran outside. She was half alarmed/laughing when she seen me laying there and that skeleton still singing. She came over to look at my toe and proceeded to do first aid (she is a nurse) while in her cynical fashion she told me that it was a huge success. I didn't know that she was hanging Halloween decorations today. This was the first year that I have been spooked by them; she bought some pretty good ones. If I was frightened by that damn singing skeleton than I can only imagine how the kids down the road will fare...

Not a good start for a day. My movie night home alone yesterday was as far as I know OK, though I have no idea how it ended. I don't even know if I watched all the movies I had rented. Now I am a very sick man.

Let's see if I can make this day better. Drinking the breakfast carefully, waiting the medicine to kick in.

On my beautiful wife's second 39th birthday, I put a nice pork loin on the rotisserie and then went to the florist. And the balloon store. The grocery store. The gas station. The bakery.

We did not serve pork loin that day.

Today. almost took a header on some cat poop. twice. tiny kitteh has musturds. administered anti-parasitic, wish him luck ... or adopt him ... that'll work too.
