Hey, here's a shocker, it happened again. False alarm on the whole it's fixed now thing.

Analyze my new dump file?

Now blamed on hardware

Your .dmp file shows a stop error of 0x124 which is a general hardware error .

A "stop 0x124" is fundamentally different to many other types of bluescreens because it stems from a hardware complaint.

Stop 0x124 minidumps contain very little practical information, and it is therefore necessary to approach the problem as a case of hardware in an unknown state of distress.

Some generic advice.

If you are overclocking STOP. return to the default settings at least for now.
If you are running a RAID update its driver.

then again, its blamed hardware before, right before blaming software..?

If it isnt under warranty and is a desktop I would start by pulling all the ram but one stick. I would also remove anything USB that isnt essential.

So. After removing the second stick of RAM that I had in the thing, (three total), I cannot crash my computer, despite efforts to do so.

Now the question becomes: is it the RAM, or the motherboard slot? (Or the fact that I had three sticks in, though I don't see how that would matter.) I'll find out soon enough. First, I think I'll put this ridiculous audio card back in and see if that has any effect, just to eliminate the variable completely.

Here we go again, same poop, different day.

I was going to ask if anyone could analyze my .dmp file, but I cannot zip my .dmp file. It says access is denied. I think I'm about to start breaking Forum Rules. What do I do?
