Whenever i use my laptop, the computer behaves fine.
But, if I'm not doing anything or leaving my laptop on(no sleep mode, but for instance to grab a drink), my laptop screen flashes on and off, as in it dims itself and about 2-3 seconds after, it goes back to full brightness, then dims itself and 2-3 secs after, it goes back to full brightness until i touch the mousepad. I thought it might be a battery issue, so i plugged it to the wall outlet and it still does the samething.
The build is the newest xxx85 x86 32-bit.
Is my laptop about to die? It is 5 yrs old. No errors.
I used RC1 on this laptop before and it didnt have a single issue. Perhaps, Aero is doing it but it never did this before with the RC and previous leaks.

My specs:
HP Pavillon dv6120us
Core duo 1.76ghz T2250
120 HDD
2GB RAM
Intel Media accelerator 945 Chipset

Note: Had Windows Media Center 2005 and had never a single Issue nor a BSD ever.

Hi ChrisNYC,

Have you tried downloading the latest Windows 7 drivers from Intel?

Download Software, Drivers and Utilities Filters

I have the same chipset and have never experienced that issue, even with only 768MB memory. Do you have any resource intensive app running?

Also, if you click Start -> (right-click) Computer -> Properties, then click the Windows Experience link followed by 'Advanced Tools'. This can highlight any performance issues (yellow exclaimation mark).

Hope this helps :)
