I have tried everything to delete this folder. I was able to delete the file in the folder, but the folder itself won't delete. It won't delete in safe mode either. If I scan the folder or right click properties, it shows an object in the folder. If I check the "show hidden files" box, nothing is there. I can rename the folder, add to it, and move it, but I can't delete it. I have searched the internet for solutions and nothing works.

It originally had an MP3 in it. Now it is suppose to be empty.

It looks like a process is locking the folder preventing you from deleting it.

Try the Unlocker 1.9.1 (a freeware program - google it) which will show you the process unlocking the folder and will also give you an option to kill that process. Then you can delete the folder.

You could also try using Windows 7 in safe mode.

I have had problems deleting some folders when the ownership has changed and I haven't been able to change it back

try this tutorial to take ownership of the folder, and then delete it:
