WHen watching a video on youtube it will play for a while then just all of the sudden stopps. NOthing happens. Try to refresh and chrome just give that spinning circle in the tab by the page name.

Open a new tab and paste the URL and it still wont play. Spinning circle again. Waaaaaaiiiitttt and no play.

Open a 3rd tape and paste the URL and again no play just the circle.

Open a new brwswer window NOT JUST A NEW TAB and paste the URL and the video playes in the new browser with the other 3 are still sitting there as spinning cirlcles refusing to play.

Why would chrome stop playing a video in one browser and refuse to play after refreshing but will play no problem when opening a new browswer windows.

Is there a starting point to investigate this because it really starting to piss me off and it FAR TOO EARLY in the AM for this bullshit.

I have had this on and off in canary for a few days and I just keep refreshing the page till it loads again. It seems unless the comments load with the page the video won't play or even attempt to buffer. I thought it might be my magic actions plugin but no, same thing happens on vanilla youtube. Seems to just be a bug and youtube has been having server issues as of late so that might factor into it as well. https://downdetector.com/status/youtube
