Recaptcha not working on chrome

Basically when i tick the not a robot box, i get verified, but theres no continue tab underneath.
so nothing happens. only started since friday.
anyway to resolve this other than change to win11 [ugh] which i use at work?

no clearing that hasnt made any difference.

Can you share with me what website this is happening with? Does it happen with all Recaptchas?

It happens when i login into google groups. Recently google added a recaptcha when you post to
try and prevent spammers and bots. I've been told that becos google doesnt support win 7
with updates anymore, I will have to use win 10 or 11. Another suggestion is that i'm not seeing
the continue button cos you have to enable additional dialogues. But as i dont know what that
means i'm not sure if that is useful or not.

Yeah, it very well could be that Chrome and Firefox are no longer compatible with Windows 7 which quite frankly is bunk.

Try this: Need to allow a site to create additional dialog boxes

Thankyou for looking but when I leave the verify page I get a box saying

prevent additional dialogue boxes

which I dont tick, so I dont think thats the problem.
it suggests that additional dialogue boxes are already enabled.

As I understand it, firefox does still support Win 7 and I am right
uptodate on firefox, but when I try to post to google groups
I have the same problem. I get verified but theres no continue
button. I have no problem when i use a win11 computer.
