Zoom + AirPort = DNS not responding

I just replaced my old wired VPN router with the latest AirPort router for a wireless network. I confirmed the Zoom x5 DSL modem was still working. I was successful in getting the new router to work, but when I added a computer to the network, I got "The DNS server isn't responding." My network is a mess. Any suggestions?

Open cmd window by typing cmd in search>then type ipconfig /all > %userprofile%\desktop\ipdetails.txt.


Take that file and upload it to us.


Also try in cmd window Ping MSN.com, and tell us the results

I typed in the request for ipdetails.txt exactly as your wrote it and I got nothing but a new prompt in response. Here is the response to Ping MSN.com:

You can always try entering the DNS server manually into your ipv4 properties, or you can go into your routers set up page and enter the DNS info manually. I've been using Googles DNS lately, doesn't seem to matter which one I use. I'm not sure why the new router isn't doing that for you.
