DNS Not responding

So at times my DNS server goes derp and wont work and thus says dns server not responding.

I have gone in and disabled 6, went into 4 and put in the dns server numbers I have seen on other sites that is supposed to help, and have went into cmd and tried to flushdns but nothing seems to work.

I just don't want to keep getting side tracked every time I'm trying to check my email or college homework to see my computer pop up 'dns not responding'.

Any help will be appreciated.

Try the google DNS Servers: 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4

Maybe you need to read about the McAfee update problem which has been causing connection problems. I believe this is the source of your problems.
