I loved the Zune software in Vista, I had complete control over my media with no surprises. But now that I've upgraded to Win7, it controls what media is added to my Zune library
Example, in Vista, if I decided I didn't want the Zune software to watch a folder for videos/photos, etc., I didn't have to pick one and it wasn't an issue. Now, there has to be a folder selected for each library category and it's Windows 7 that dictates that. Yeah, I can change the default location of said Windows 7 libraries to ensure no content of that particular category shows up but why do I have to go through the hassle of doing so? Why is it necessary for the software to be forced to watch a folder for each media category?
Now, should I ever decided to actually use the libraries feature in Win7 it seems like i'm going to be stuck having my library in the Zune software identical to the library of my Windows 7 media..........unless the Libraries feature can be disabled in Windows 7:sarc: maybe then I can regain control of my Zune library
