Hi Gents,
Hope someone can help me here. I've been using a retail version of Win7 Home premium 64 for about 2 years now with no issues.
During that time I've reinstalled the product possibly 6 or 8 times. Excessive I know but when things start to go wrong I like to start fresh again. Anyway from memory the last 2 times I have had to use phone activation.
A couple of weeks ago I dropped my laptop and killed the HDD. Put in a new one and reinstalled Win. I've just tried to activate with no luck. I went to phone activation and being lazy I typed in my old code I had saved from last time.
Now I can't activate and when I try and open the phone activation box I get a pop up from the toolbar saying the copy isn't genuine and nothing more.
Is there a way to resolve this or have I pissed off the activation so much that I actually have to shell out for a new copy?
Thanks in advance and I'm located in Thailand if that makes a difference.
