Help with packages for Win 7 Pro 32 bit

Hi

Trying to install some updates to my old Compaq CQ500 netbook Windows 7 Professional 32 bit (Atom processor 1.6 Ghz, 2GB Ram , 160 GB hard-drive) and found errors with what appear to be missing packages

servicing\Packages\Microsoft-Windows-IE-Hyphenation-Parent-Package-English~31bf3856ad364e35~~~11.2.9412.0.mum

Does anyone know

i) where I can get these from?
ii) What do I do with them once I have them? (obviously that leaves me open to some interesting suggestions)

You extract the cat/mum pairs from the KB the Windows Update it came from.
I have 900,000 Windows files.

Sorry for not coming back sooner - I have been tearing my hair out with this one.
I followed your instructions (I think) and managed to get the missing packages installed. Ran SURT again and it seems to show no errors. However the latest monthly update will not install and keeps failing.
My machine is a Compaq CQ10-500 Netbook 2MB RAM, 160GB Hard-drive running Win 7 Pro 32-bit and Atom 1.6GHz processor
I attach the CheckSUR log I ran this evening and the update fail screen shots
Any advice gratefully received

Just a little OT. I have about 207,000 Win files. You said you have 900,000. Do you mean you have a repository of all versions of Windows? And if I'm missing a file or have a corrupted one, can I ask you for a copy?

Thanks for that - I ran the tool. It could not fix the problem after several attempts and has sent logs to Microsoft for further analysis (the tool said).

Unfortunately, you will not get any useful help from M$
Lets see some logs again, if you please
C:\Windows\WindowsUpdate.log
C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log
May B Torchwood and I can finger it out, (typo intentional)
or instructions from my OneDrive, you can Repair Install/In Place Upgrade. I do them all the time. 2 in the last 2 days. With Updates usually a couple hours.

A Repair Install is really quite easy . . .

Repair Install - Overview

A repair install differs from a clean install in the fact that it ONLY replaces the corrupted OS with a new fresh copy. This means that ALL your User Accounts, Folders, Files, Documents, Pictures, Music, Videos, Data Files, Icons, and any installed programs are left intact. It does however, DELETE ALL the WU's [Window updates] installed, and could possibly affect, sounds, services, visual effect settings and device drivers by re-setting them to default [unusual though]. You CANNOT do a repair install at boot, in Safe Mode, using a system repair disk, or using an integrated Windows update disk. Basically, this process can ONLY be performed from within the LIVE OS.

repair install. I've completed 3 win7 repair installs & 2 win7 - win10 upgrades in the past 3 days with updates. RI takes maybe an hour. You can use the computer while you install updates with Simplex or DISM++ as I am doing right now.

Make sure you have your 25 character key for Windows 7 on that computer because you will have to re-enter it for activation.
I always create a full system image with integrity verification & a copy of the current key with either my FindWindowsProductKey.vbs, magical jellybean, or belarc advisor
Repair install is done from within windows, it saves all your current OS programs everything in C:\Windows.old
You are using your computer, you run setup.exe from DVD USB or File on Desktop, follow prompts and choose upgrade.

Also, if PaulB and Snick say to run XYZ from the desktop, copy XYZ to the desktop and run from the desktop. Awhile back I was running XYZ within another folder - got less than steller results because I changed the cake recipe.
