Hi kisd & welcome to sevenforums.

You need to grant file permission on your google drive account to allow us access to it.
Alternatively you can attach it to your post:

  1. Click Manage Attachments
  2. Click Browse
  3. Choose file
  4. Click Upload
  5. post reply

I copied and pasted your code entry. I'll see how many of those I can find and get back with you. Will take some time. If I don't have all of them, NoelDP should be able to provide the missing files.

Here is the updated link.
The CBS file was 0.6mb too big to upload I believe.

Don't have the elusive servicing packages.
Hopefully reinstalling those kb's will shorten the missing files list. :D

Probably easiest fix for you would be a Repair Install (awesome tutorial by Brink) which will resolve all your issues and preserve all your files, folder, music, video, pictures, etc. You will need your windows product key. Might have some minor issues which are easily resolved.

I just did (last night) repair install on the machine I'm using right now. You'll have 200+ updates to install, but issues go away! Machine I'm using now had 4gb ram and produces "out of memory error" Ram is utilized by windows update.

On low RAM machines I usually check the first 100 updates and windows update downloads and installs them, or most of them. Windows Updates doesn't know which updates are prerequisites so if they try to install out of order you get "failed". Usually, next update session will install those.

Do you have a windows installation disk? If not and you decide to repair install, I can provide you with link to Microsoft for the ISO.

Do you have your Windows 25 character product key? If not, it's stored in the registry in binary form (ones & zeros) I have a Visual Basic script to decider it and popup that appears on your screen is alphanumeric.

I could search for all the missing Manifests & Packages which would take quite some time (unavailable files list is quite extensive) & I'm almost positive I don't have all of them and would have to put out a call to other members for those)

You could try running batch file to uninstall the KB's with issues & try reinstalling (may work) Could attach it for you, or I could copy and paste the commands into my response & you could make your own batch file (simple with text editor) or you can run them one at a time from command prompt.

I have no problem with whichever option you would decide to choose. Focus is on making your issues go away. I'm retired & enjoy helping others (or in some cases trying to).

What would you like to do?

I would like to do a repair install but there is a lot of specialized software for diagnosing diesel engines for various models.

This repair install wouldn't harm the registry or any install app along with their user data?

I might consider doing it if it doesn't affect these items and I might need the ISO. You can PM me if you'd like.

Thanks for all the help you've put into this!

Yes it does. It also saves a file on your hard drive, I believe it's entitled "WindowsOld" and can be reverted back to if you have major issues with repair install. Usually you will have minor, easily solvable issues. On Windows desktop pc I performed repair install on windows media player crashed when starting (solution turn windows features on and off) Turned media player off, reboot, turn media play back on, it then reindexes all the media and works as it should. On laptop I did repair install on, Adobe Flash Player on Firefox videos crashed immediately when I tried to run them. Solution uninstall and reinstall flash. On both machines Avast free antivirus is installed. Side-by-side error. Solution click control panel, click Avast, click change, on avast popup click repair, when I started Avast, Avast indicated background services not running. Solution click Resolve All and wait a few minutes, back to green, have to reconfigure options as it is returned to default. Works as it should.

By the way you can start the repair install a few different ways. You can burn the ISO to disk, I use ImgBurn, straight forward easy to use. You can unpack the ISO with WinRAR to a folder on the desktop. If you burn the ISO to DVD you can open Computer and double-click the DVD & it will run. If you right-click the DVD and click open, you can click Setup.exe and it will run. Similarly you can open the files if you unpacked it with WinRAR and click Setup.exe. ImgBurn and WinRar (trial version) are free (I like free). If you decide to use WinRAR make sure you download the version applicable to your machine, i.e. x64, x32.

If you have a Windows 7 installation disk you can insert that in your drive and run SFCfix.exe It will find the missing files (if they're on the disk) and replace them. Although I can't find any documentation, if you place the missing files on the desktop (pertains to winsxs folder files), it will find them and replace them. Using SURT or SFCfix is advantageous, as apposed to replacing the files manually, in that it automatically takes ownership, installs the files, and then return ownership to TrustedInstaller. Manually taking ownership and restoring ownership is a pain in the A** and most times still allows you to access and delete or alter the files. This is exactly what viruses do, or try to, is alter system files and registry entries, as well as add it's files, folder, and rename files, folders, etc. It's very important that TrustedInstaller have full control of system files for that reason.

If you don't have a win7x64 Ultimate disc and would like one, you can download the ISO from Microsoft Download Center. You need to have your 25 character product key to do so. If you don't have that available, it is stored in the registry (binary form ones & zeros) I've attached a Visual Basic script that will convert the binary key to alphanumeric All you have to do is download & run it, either double left-click, or right-click choose>run. If your curious as to what the code is, right-click choose open.

You can't use windows copy and paste, which is for files, folder, etc., the ISO (image) has to be burned to disk. I use ImgBurn (free, I like free) a simple intuitive interface. The program has advanced features as well. Pretty much you choose the iso, right-click on the name area and a popup appears. I change the first and third entry, (I believe the first is ONLY_CAPS and includes underscore "_". It's always a good idea to have win7 installation disk, just in case you need to do repair install, which preserves all your files, folder, installed programs, video, music, etc.

The win7 ISO have all versions included, there is a file called, ei.cfg, you can remove it using a program, or manually, which requires converting the ISO to a folder on your computer, WinRAR again, finding the file and rename or delete it and recompiling the ISO, (I use free ISO creator) to convert the folder back to ISO. The automatic tool to do that is much faster/simpler ei.cfg tool.

You can create a batch file or Visual Basic file in Notepad, if you just save it, it saves as .txt, of you change the file type to all, you can add the suffix .bat or .vbs. You will notice the icon change accordingly.
