Windows 7

I updated my lachesis driver, uninstalled some junk programs, uninstalled Alcohol 120%, and ran the SPTD uninstaller, but I got another crash. I've uploaded the latest minidump.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Also, I still see that sptd.sys is still in the load drivers. Please remove them by using remove option of sptd remover:

I agree with ttran. Please update your nVidia graphics card drivers from below. Your current ones.

Be sure to run this SPTD uninstaller again. I guess it didn't work the first time: DuplexSecure - Downloads

SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED_M (1000007e)
This is a very common bugcheck. Usually the exception address pinpoints
the driver/function that caused the problem. Always note this address
as well as the link date of the driver/image that contains this address.
Some common problems are exception code 0x80000003. This means a hard
coded breakpoint or assertion was hit, but this system was booted
/NODEBUG. This is not supposed to happen as developers should never have
hardcoded breakpoints in retail code, but ...
If this happens, make sure a debugger gets connected, and the
system is booted /DEBUG. This will let us see why this breakpoint is
happening.
Arguments:
Arg1: ffffffffc000001d, The exception code that was not handled
Arg2: fffff88013f1bc38, The address that the exception occurred at
Arg3: fffff88003d36928, Exception Record Address
Arg4: fffff88003d36190, Context Record Address

I tried running the "SPTDinst-v169-x64.exe" again, but it said that "No SPTD version was detected". I also updated my Nvidia drivers as you had specified, but unfortunately, when I came home I noticed that it had crashed again with the attached minidump.

I guess I should mention that lots of the time my machine is running by itself with an autoclicker playing a silly flash game I play. Do you think that this could be caused by too many automated clicks in any way?

I've been considering upgrading some hardware. What would you suggest might help fix this? Is this a purely software-based problem?

Thanks again, both of you, for taking the time to help!

Hi buddie
No computers hate their owner buddie unless you mess it up
This time, the minidump file still pointed to nVidia video card driver. Have you uninstall all trace of old driver before installing new one.
To uninstall old driver,
Control Panel-->Personalize-->Change display setting-->advanced setting-->In adapter tab choose properties-->choose driver tab-->Uninstall-->reinstall driver using what you downloaded

Thanks for the suggestion ttran. I made sure to uninstall the drivers via the method you outline, then installed the latest ones from Nvidia.

Unfortunately, I experienced yet another crash and have uploaded the minidump from that as well. This time I noticed is mentioned dxgmms1.sys. Is that another video related file? Would getting a new video card solve all these problems?

Thanks!

I reinstalled the latest DirectX drivers, uninstalled the beta PeerBlock, and still got another crash.

Is it really just a bunch of unrelated software issues, or are all of these blue screens happening because of some other reason?

Thank you all again for taking the time to help!
