Icons invisible while dragging (with windows classic theme)

How do I enable it so that when I drag items on my desktop I see the icons as opposed to it just being invisible. Why would MS remove this from Win 7 ? :sarc:

I believe this is normal behavior when using the classic theme. It is by design, who knows why. You can confirm this setting:

Right click on Computer> Select properties> On the left side click on Advanced system settings>
Performance box> Settings> Visual Effects tab, make sure Show window contents while dragging is checked

Righteous Dude - Thanks a lot, it worked. But just for info: the box was already checked. I unchecked it and recheked it a few times before hitting OK. It then also made a number of other changes without me doing anything. Obviously all the settings weren't actually 'set'.
