Gadget with Windows 7 and DPI?

I have problems with sidebar gadget in vista 32bit when I install IE8--Analog clocks don't work and red box around gadgets--if custom DPI used.

Has anybody run gadgets in windows 7--especially with custom DPI for font size...

Are gadgets availabe in Windows 7 ( know there is no sidebar) or does one have to download them?

Have you tried with custom DPI? This is what causes problems in vista--with normal or lage DPI no problems in vista with IE8
