When did you last update your other OS

A lot of us here are dual booting but with Seven being such a great OS just wondered are you neglecting the Other OS?

Have just booted into my Vista for the first time in a while, (apart from on quick boot to check an issue, now and again ), and I realised that I had not done an update since 16th March 2009 which means over two months of outdated protection

Will stay on Vista for an hour or two to load all the updates but was surprised how long it's been and will always treat the other OS in a dual boot as a new unpatched install in future

I always make a point of booting into my other OSes at least once a week, if only to update the OS and AV software.

I'm usually on both oses for a week and then I switch over all depends on what I'm doing.

LOL, maybe once a month now. I usually run it as a virtual machine now from within Windows 7.

Windows is the OS on my machine.

All others are just Virtual machines.

only OS on my laptop as well, and the only machine that is currently running 7 in my house is about to be running 7 as of this weekend.

And I haven't updated much of anything that is not 7 related since before March 15, as that was my birthday.....

I'm in Vista every other day or so and XP about once a week, just to make sure XP is still working, XP isn't so bad with IE8 installed.

The last time I used Vista, I got a BSOD. I updated Vista today as well as installing the new cat drivers and I got another bloody BSOD.

The irony is that when Seven was a BSOD fest for me, Vista was rock solid stable. Now Seven is rock solid stable while Vista is crashing on me. I can't win

I work with XP, Vista and Win7 every day. Each OS is on it's own machine, so they're always updated

I just booted into Vista yesterday for the first time in 45 days. It's been 4 months since XP saw the light.

Do some of you just wipe your old OS? I hate to wipe my Vista install since it didn't come with a disc. I made "recovery discs" but have never had to use something like those.

I sure wish ALL windows machines came with YOUR disc you paid for. I don't see it changing. I will be buying retail or OEM from now on.

I buy all of my OS's ... so it's easy for me to do a clean OS install.

That's a great idea. I will do this from now on. I have always just got OSs pre-installed. I will do that no more.

as for me well it has been "months" since updating all of my other OSes....
makes me feel pretty bad negleting them lot...
