PCIex 8x PCIex 16x

Hi my bios have option video to 100 and i can up to 200 , if i up to 200 my video card up temperature so hot and i dont know if 200 is 16x pci express and 100 is pciex 8x or 100 is pciex 16x

so 100 is PCI express 16x ? , the problem i press load defaul in the bios and i lost configuration i have my system from factory build my PC , and now i dont know if the frecuency is on 100 or 200 , but i guess 200 no beacuse the video card up to very hot

so 100 is PCI express 16x ?

100 is just the frequency of the slot. The PCI-E number is the amount of lanes the slot has, so an x16 slot has 16 lanes.

Leave the PCI-E slot alone, if you want better results then overclock your graphic card.

Just have it set to PCI-Ex as you're using a PCI-E card.
