What is your least favorite food?

What food have you eaten that you dislike the most?

For me it's onions. They have absolutely no redeeming qualities. They smell bad, taste nasty and have a really terrible texture. There are foods that taste worse (such as jalapenos) but onions top my list as most disliked.

What makes onions particularly bad? It's because the majority of the rest of the world thinks they are wonderful. There's hardly a restaurant I can go to where they don't add onions to everything. Whether it's soup, gravy, omelettes, stew, sandwiches, salad, etc... it will invariably be served with onions.

Imagine if your worst liked food was loved by the rest of the world and every time you ordered a meal the odds were very high that it would contain that food.

I don't want to try to convince you about the quality of onions or jalapenos (in the correct dishes)
My most disliked food (to a point that I wouldn't touch it, even if you'd pay me for it) is Brussels sprouts.
There are other things I don't eat (like brain...I leave that to the zombies ) But I can't think of any other "food" I dislike as much as these green pieces of garbage.

Lamb doesn't do it for me. Just do not like the taste.
Other stuff that can be left off the menu is what i consider offal, like brains, kidney & liver.

Yeah Sushi for me too Had bad experiences with Sushi . Pasta and Sauce and Squid.

I love onions, spinach and Brussels sprouts. But I do not like shellfish. Too much work and most of these buggers live in dirty water (that's what they filter). Every year there is an epidemic from clams in Italy. Especially around Naples where the run the waste water unfiltered into the sea. For that they have the clams.

Lol, thanks Noob, we are rare. I wish I liked veggies, but I don't. Carrots or celery in a soup or stew are ok if they are cooked soft and taste like what they are in. But just veggies on a plate...no thanks. I am a carnivore. Meat and potatoes is right

I'm fine with most of the foods mentioned so far. Like veggies, fruit, shellfish, offal etc.
The one thing I've discovered that I will never put in my mouth again is Whelks.
They are like gristly bits of fat or rubber. The very thought of them makes me want to ralph.

While I'm at it. Am I alone in disliking the overwhelming ubiquity of mayonnaise?
To me a sandwich is something you can eat with your hands. I object to buying a sandwich, eating it and finding cheap mayo trickling down my forearms under my shirt cuffs.
Don't get me wrong, in it's place mayonnaise is lovely but not in every kind of sandwich or burger imaginable.
The other day I got a simple cheese sandwich. Slightly moist white bread layered with vegetable oil spread, cheap plastic cheese and loads of mayo.
That's 3 types of fat between two slices of faux bread. What's that about?
