to "Orbital Shark" well i did it but nothing happened just my screen resolution got to 800x600 instead of 1024x768 .......
and I still have "Standard VGA graphics Adapter" what to do??

You could try downloading the RC build 7100 from Microsoft. The driver database is much larger than that of 7068, so it might help.

It would be nice to know the exact model of your GFX card, and if it's onboard or plug-in.

Just look behind your CPU, and see if there is another identical port like the one which your monitor has been connected to.

Depending on the age of the XP machine hes upgraded to 7, there may not be a suitable driver available? I have the Intel 852GM chipset, and looking on Intels site, there isnt even a suitable driver for Vista, so I am left with the standard VGA driver.

no I have only 1......

but now I restart my computer and it was turning into 800x600 resolution instead of 1024x768 like i put it......
this happened after I did what "Orbital Shark" said (to uninstall the "Standard VGA graphics Adapter")

what to do??

Yes. You are using a leaked version of the OS and not one of the better ones IMO. There are post 7100 leaks, 7127 & 7137, if you want to try one of these. Remember these are meant for testing purposes only. 7100 is working very well here.

Yes a clean install will mean reinstalling all of your programs. You could try an upgrade, but this often causes more problems in my experience.
