I need fine tuning

Good day all.

I recently installed win 7 ultimate x32. I am not happy, maybe I missed some important settings or I need fine tuning.

I am getting sometimes blue screen where I needed to do recovery startup, sometime system frozen with hibernate maybe so I am forced to switch system off then start over.

Please help to find where and what is wrong I did.
How can I diagnostic and find problems and how to fix it.

I know my questions are not specific and general that is tough to be answered but this is my case.

Had the same problem and it was due to the wireless mouse ( Logitech ). Changed to wired " Tust " mouse and everything has worked perfectly since.

make sure you have downloaded all updates in windows update (make sure it is running), download all drivers. If you don't have CDs, look on the internet with the name of the driver, make sure windows is activated.

Follow recommended settings and hibernation settings:

It is tough to me to figure out what is wrong.
How did you know problem is coming from mouse.

The cursor was also freezing, on my old XP computer the mouse was fine but as soon as I updated the problems started. Even after contacting Logitech it still wasn't resolved so I changed the mouse and Hey Presto. Luck perhaps.

Anytime you get a BSoD, you can either right down the codes, or if you haven't yet disabled automatic reboots, you can get the info from the Event Viewer. That's usually your clue on what is wrong, once you Google the codes.
