Hey guys,
I installed the gtx 470 today and now my PC won't boot. If I turn my computer on, there is no picture on the screen, and my keyboard and mouse don't light up. The motherboard beeps once, which from what I have read, means it passed the POST. My psu is supposed to have 62A on the 12v rail, which should be enough to power the card.
When we take out the card, and use the on-board video, it boots fine.
Could this be a problem with the card? I have tried 3 different psu cables
(From the wall to the psu) and we still have the problem. I would think the keyboard and mouse would still light up even if the card is defective, which is why I think there could not be enough power being sent to the computer
Any suggestions?
Thanks!
