Remote shutdown other pc...access denied "PLEASE HELP!!!!"

Hi,

I want to shutdown other computer in our network so in CMD i type 'Net View'
I see my other pc so i do 'Shutdown -i' i type pc name shutdown and then get access denied!!
PLEASE HELP:cry:

Each computer has to have the same user name and password with ADMIN rights to the account for it to work.

The way that I got it to work was to activate the true administrator on each computer....

Per Computer, Elevate the Dos Command Prompt...

type: net user administrator /active:yes

Deactivate admin: net user administrator /active:no

Reboot computer, log into the admin account and set your password by hitting ALT CTRL DEL

Once complete on all computers. Try the Shut down command.

run command prompt as the local admin of the machine you're trying to shut down.

shift right click command prompt and select "run as different user".

Brady is correct too....
If you do it my way, you don't have to do it everytime...

Brady is good if you want to do it one time or you don't do it often...

I mean you can create a batch file to take care of everything, just a lot of programming and switches in the text file *lol*

it worked! but now comes an other problem....
I want to shutdown the pc of my brother when he is on his PC.
But when i use the true administrator he see that somethink not correct...
so i want that he haves its own username and i can shut it down:D(Sorry for bad English i am from Netherlands:p)
