Would it be out of line to make a request? I don't post often so if no one wants to no biggie. I'm looking for a new desktop celebrating the Packers Super Bowl win. I would like it to be 1920x1080. I only have a few things that I really want: the Lombardi trophy, the XLV logo, and "Super Bowl XLV Champions" or something along those lines. Players can be up to the creator. Just make it look sweet.

If not, no big deal.

Here's a tutorial on making a Realistic looking chrome ball that I made. Unfortunately it's made in CorelDraw but hopefully you will be able to adapt the effect for use in PS.

It uses the "Mesh Fill Tool" which is similar to PS but you can edit the colours in real time on to Vectors. (soz it took so long Arc)

I watched part of your tut and saw all those mesh strings and decided to play a little...



just put a few colors in and pulled on vert and horiz strings....amazing effects.

Once you get the hang of it you can start adding the mesh fill to more intricate shapes, but keep practising with circles, ovals and squares etc. until you feel comfortable.

Thanks guys, but it's just a vector, I just used the mesh fill instead of photoshoping the shading
