Win 7 installed perfectly. But will not boot.

I am sorry for disappearing. My PSU seems to have some problem. When I press the power button, the PC starts, and i hear some weird noise from PSU fan (as if the fan is hitting something inside) and the PC shuts off in 10-sec. Since its out of warranty, I will be opening the PSU and check. WIll take a day or two. Will keep you guys posted about the Win7 performance once I get my PSU up and running. Please bear with me till then.

EDIT: My PSU failed. I have ordered a new one. Should be up by Monday.

Finally! My pc is up and running. After fixing the PSU, my mobo failed (probably due to a bad PSU). After replacing the mobo, my Win7 started working perfectly. Can a failing mobo cause booting problems in Win 7?
